Female litigant attempts suicide by consuming poison in Feni courtroom

On May 10, 2026, a female litigant named Tahmina Akhter Mohona attempted suicide by drinking poison in front of a judge during a dowry case hearing at the Phulgazi Amoli Adalat, which is part of the Feni Senior Judicial Magistrate Court. She was rushed to Feni 250-bed General Hospital and is in critical condition.
