Death of Student Afikul Islam Sad during Police Firing in Dhamrai

During the July uprising on August 5, 2024, student Afikul Islam Sad was shot by police while participating in a protest march near Hardinge School in Dhamrai, Dhaka. He later succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment. A murder case has been filed against 82 individuals, though protesters are demanding the inclusion of the involved police officials.
