On September 9, 2026, around 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM, a motorcycle collision with a sand-laden truck on the Kushtia-Jhenaidah highway in Swastipur, Alampur Union, Kushtia, resulted in the death of Nure Alam Jiku (45) and injuries to his brother-in-law, Akidul Islam.
