8 HIV cases detected in Kishoreganj in 8 months, all are men

Between January and August 2026, 8 men aged 20 to 30 were diagnosed with HIV in Kishoreganj district. According to a report by the NGO Bandhu Welfare Society, a total of 25 individuals have been diagnosed with the virus in the district over the last 6 years and 8 months, and most are currently receiving antiretroviral therapy (ART).
