Flooding in Rohingya camp lowlands due to heavy rain

Heavy, continuous rainfall from the night of July 5th to the afternoon of July 6th, 2026, caused flooding in the low-lying areas of Rohingya camps in Ukhiya and Teknaf, Cox's Bazar. Over 100 families were reported stranded, with homes damaged and essential supplies lost, prompting ongoing evacuation and relief efforts by volunteers and NGOs.
