Newborn infant found dead on Dhaka University sidewalk

The body of an unidentified newborn female was discovered on a sidewalk between Sir AF Rahman Hall and the Dr. Mohammad Gias Uddin residential area at Dhaka University. The Shahbag police recovered the body on Wednesday night following a report via the 999 emergency line and transferred it to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy and investigation.
