Former Chhatra Dal leader dies in dumper truck-CNG collision in Lakshmipur

Former Chhatra Dal leader Chowdhury Rubel died while undergoing treatment at the National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR/Pangu Hospital) in Dhaka on July 27, 2026, after sustaining severe injuries in a collision between a dumper/drum truck and a CNG-run autorickshaw on July 26, 2026. The accident occurred on Maju Chowdhury Hat Road in front of the Youth Development Department in Lakshmipur.
