Road collapse due to structural failure in Faridganj, Chandpur

A significant portion of a recently constructed road in Char-Dukhiya village, Faridganj, Chandpur, collapsed following heavy rainfall. The failure has been attributed to improper construction of the guide wall and excavation work by the contractor, Sohel Builders Corporation. The Upazila Engineer has inspected the site and confirmed that the contractor's security deposit will be withheld until the road is properly repaired.
