Highest record of Dengue deaths and hospital admissions this year

Bangladesh recorded its highest single-day dengue death toll of 9 and 1,571 new hospitalizations in the 24 hours ending September 8, 2026. Since the beginning of the year, there have been a total of 130 dengue-related deaths and 45,475 hospital admissions nationwide.
