Two maize-laden trawlers sank at Paturia Ghat due to Kalbaishakhi storm

Two maize-laden trawlers capsized in the Padma River at Paturia Ghat on Thursday night due to a severe Kalbaishakhi storm. Authorities confirmed that there were no casualties or missing persons as all individuals involved managed to reach safety. Ferry services on the Daulatdia-Paturia route were temporarily suspended for 1.5 hours due to the severe weather conditions.
