Flash flooding in Kalmakanda due to mountain runoff

Following heavy rainfall and mountain runoff, the Ubdakhali River in Kalmakanda, Netrokona, has risen 7cm above the danger level at the Dak-bungalow point as of Sunday. Eight unions and several villages are experiencing waterlogging, prompting local authorities to prepare shelters and disaster management measures.
