Ferry carrying 150 passengers stranded in mid-river for 2 hours and 45 minutes

A passenger ferry carrying 150 people and 16 vehicles from Chairman Ghat to Nalchira Ghat got stranded in the Mahananda River due to a navigability crisis caused by low water depth. The vessel remained stuck for approximately two hours and 45 minutes before resuming its journey after the tide rose.
