Elderly woman and her disabled daughter living in inhuman conditions at the riverbank

Seventy-year-old Jamela Khatun and her disabled daughter, Tasnur Begum, are living in extreme hardship in Joorkhal, Bhola. Their home has been severely impacted by continuous riverbank erosion and the encroachment of land by the Water Development Board for a block construction project, which resulted in the loss of their trees and livelihoods.
