Belal Hossain, a victim of the July Mass Uprising, reports inadequate financial support despite losing vision in one eye.

Belal Hossain, a 39-year-old resident of Sariakandi, Bogura, lost vision in his right eye after being shot during the July 2024 Mass Uprising. Although listed as a 'Category B' victim receiving 15,000 BDT monthly, he claims he qualifies for 'Category A' support of 20,000 BDT due to his permanent disability. He has yet to receive rehabilitation aid from the July Shahid Smriti Foundation.
