Riverbank Erosion at 40 Points in Kurigram

Riverbank erosion has hit approximately 40 points across the Brahmaputra, Teesta, Dharla, and Dudhkumar basins in Kurigram district. Over 315 families have lost their homesteads in the past month, with several public infrastructures and thousands of families at continued risk due to lack of allocation for vulnerable char regions.
