Severe riverbank erosion in Alfadanga, Faridpur: 225 houses destroyed and critical infrastructure threatened

Severe riverbank erosion by the Madhumati River in Chapulia and Char Kholabaria villages of Alfadanga, Faridpur, has destroyed 225 houses in an Ashrayan project. Additionally, critical local infrastructure including schools, an orphanage, a post office, and a mosque are under imminent threat, with residents demanding permanent protective measures.
