9 out of 10 ventilators at Gopalganj 250-bed General Hospital ICU found inoperative

During the inauguration of a 10-bed ICU unit at Gopalganj 250-bed General Hospital, it was discovered that 9 out of 10 ventilators are inoperative. MP Dr. K.M. Babar alleged that substandard equipment was provided during the COVID-19 pandemic and that the unit remained non-functional for six years due to administrative negligence and corruption.
