Newborn baby girl rescued from near a drain in Begumganj, Noakhali

A one-day-old newborn baby girl was found abandoned near a drain behind a house in the Maheshganj area, Ward 6, Choumuhani Pourashava, Begumganj, Noakhali, on the evening of October 15. Local residents heard the child crying, rescued her, and initially took her to the Begumganj Upazila Health Complex. Due to her condition, she was subsequently transferred to the Noakhali 250-bed General Hospital for further medical treatment.
