BSF failed in push-in attempt at Naogaon border and returned nine individuals

On June 24, 2026, the Border Security Force (BSF) of India attempted to push nine individuals—three men, three women, and three children—into Bangladesh across the Sapahar border in Naogaon. The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) successfully thwarted the attempt, and the BSF subsequently retreated with the individuals after turning off border lights during the night.
