Lohagara Trauma Center in Chattogram Closes Again, Patient Suffering Intensifies

The Lohagara Trauma Center in Chattogram has suspended its medical services following the expiration of a contract between the government and the Chittagong International Medical College (CIMC) on July 31, 2026. The facility, which served over 6,000 patients in 2026, including road accident victims, has ceased operations, causing significant distress to the local population in seven upazilas.
