150 families in two villages face coastal erosion in Kutubdia

Approximately 150 families in Romaipara and Saitpara villages of Boroghop Union, Kutubdia, Cox's Bazar, are at high risk of displacement due to severe coastal erosion. With the upcoming full moon tide, residents fear further loss of homes, following the recent destruction of the local Saitpara Jame Mosque. Government officials have promised emergency repairs using geo-bags to mitigate the immediate threat.
