Goods train derailment in Gafargaon, Mymensingh; Dhaka-Mymensingh rail link suspended and restored

A stone-laden cargo train derailed between Kaoraid and Mashakhali railway stations in the Golabari area of Gafargaon, Mymensingh, on September 13, 2026, at approximately 5:15 PM. The incident halted train traffic on the Dhaka-Mymensingh route for approximately six hours before normal operations were restored.
