Mobile court raids and fines restaurant after 40 people fell ill in Madaripur
At least 40 people fell ill after consuming food at the RFC Restaurant in the Puran Bazar area of Madaripur. Following reports of illness, a mobile court conducted a raid on Sunday evening and fined the owner 100,000 BDT for unhygienic conditions and substandard food practices. Two victims in critical condition were transferred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
