Human skeleton recovered in Taraganj identified by family as missing Sahir Uddin

A decomposed human skeleton was discovered in a bush near the Dalia canal in Kuthipara, Taraganj, on July 3, 2026. The family of Sahir Uddin (73), who went missing after leaving home to seek help in Rangpur, identified the clothing found with the remains. Police have sent the remains for forensic DNA testing to confirm the identity.
