Solar-powered water project collapses in Bandarban due to corruption

A 7.7 million BDT solar-powered water purification plant in Tongkaboti, Bandarban, collapsed shortly after its inauguration. The project, implemented by LGED, suffered from poor construction quality and suspected corruption, leaving the remote population without access to safe drinking water.
