Death of a man from a venomous snakebite in Bakshiganj
A 60-year-old rural doctor named Shofiqul Islam Chan died after being bitten by a venomous snake while cutting grass for his cattle in Puran Bashkanda village, Bakshiganj, Jamalpur, on Friday morning. Despite being rushed to the local health complex and then referred to Jamalpur General Hospital, he passed away in the afternoon.
