Toxic smoke from brick kilns destroys 25 acres of Boro paddy in Dhamrai

Toxic smoke and intense heat from three brick kilns (Alif Bricks, Tiger Bricks, and Al Madina Bricks) destroyed approximately 25 acres of Boro paddy crops in the Amta Union of Dhamrai, Dhaka. Over 100 marginalized farmers across five villages have suffered significant economic loss, with many losing their primary annual food supply. Local administration and agricultural authorities have confirmed the damage and are processing compensation for the affected farmers.
