Bridge and road approach collapse in Kachua before inauguration

An RCC girder bridge and its approach road in Haripur, Kachua, Chandpur, suffered a collapse of the approach and significant cracking in guard walls before its official inauguration. The project, funded by the government and World Bank, cost over 2.31 crore BDT and was executed by Messers Harun and Sons. Following allegations of poor construction quality, the LGED has initiated an investigation.
