Breakdown of the only water treatment plant in Magura Municipality

The sole water treatment plant in Magura Municipality has been non-operational for 20 months, since January 2025, due to a lack of maintenance and specialized personnel. As a result, approximately 4,200 households are receiving untreated and potentially contaminated water through 30-year-old infrastructure, posing significant health risks to the residents.
