64mm Rainfall in 6 Hours Causes Waterlogging in Chittagong

Heavy rainfall of 64mm recorded over six hours caused significant waterlogging in various parts of Chittagong city, particularly in the Katalganj area. The water accumulation, reaching knee to waist-deep levels, led to severe traffic congestion and hampered public movement, including emergency hospital visits. The Mayor of Chittagong City Corporation inspected the affected areas to oversee drainage operations.
