The construction of a 250-bed new building at Khagrachhari Modern Sadar Hospital has remained incomplete for eight years, forcing patients to receive care on the floor and in corridors. The delay hinders the implementation of critical medical services, including ICU and dialysis, for the 230 currently admitted patients and the 600-2,000 daily outpatients.
