Flash flood and waterlogging damage to Boro paddy in Haor areas
Heavy rains and flash floods since late April 2026 have damaged approximately 53,000 hectares of Boro paddy across five districts including Sunamganj, Netrokona, Moulvibazar, Habiganj, and Brahmanbaria. Approximately 230,000 farmers have been affected, and the government is currently finalizing the list of victims for financial and food aid.
