A 10-month-old infant named Wasenat died on Monday afternoon, May 18, 2026, after choking on a lychee seed in West Para of Bamu Bilchari Union, Chakaria. The incident occurred while she was being fed. Family members attempted to remove the seed, but the child was declared dead upon arrival at the Lama Upazila Health Complex.
