Young man dies from snake bite while sleeping under mosquito net

18-year-old Mikail Hossain died after being bitten by a poisonous snake while sleeping in his home in Kuthidurgapur village, Jhenaidah Sadar, on the early morning of September 5, 2026. Despite receiving emergency medical treatment at Jhenaidah 250-bed Sadar Hospital, the victim could not be saved.
