On Friday, two brothers-in-law, Pradip Das and Samiran Das, died while attempting to rescue a mason, Shah Alam, from a septic tank at a construction site in Noapara, Rauzan. The mason was successfully rescued and hospitalized. Authorities suspect toxic gas accumulation inside the closed tank caused the fatalities.
