Railway GM survives collision at illegal rail crossing in Noakhali

On May 3, 2026, a pickup truck collided with a Bangladesh Railway inspection vehicle at an illegal railway crossing in Sonaimuri, Noakhali. The railway's Eastern Zone General Manager, Md. Suboktogin, was inside the vehicle. While the GM and other passengers remained unharmed, the driver of the inspection vehicle sustained serious injuries.
