Arson and civil unrest in Chauddagram following a fatal drug-related clash

Following the death of a construction worker named Bashir Uddin, who was injured in a drug-related clash on April 21, local residents set fire to two houses in Baidderkhil village, Chauddagram, on the morning of April 28. Six police officers were injured while attempting to control the crowd during the incident.
