Bangladeshi youth Khaled Ahmad killed in BSF firing at Kanaighat border

Khaled Ahmad, a 23-year-old Bangladeshi national, was shot and killed by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) personnel near pillar 1333 at the Dona border in Kanaighat on Thursday afternoon, October 15, 2026. Following reports of an attempt to bury the body secretly, it was recovered and returned to the family on October 16, 2026.
