Fire at Building No. 6 of the Bangladesh Secretariat

A fire broke out in the second-floor bathroom of Building No. 6 at the Bangladesh Secretariat in Dhaka on the evening of October 13, 2026. The blaze, triggered by a short circuit in the ceiling, was extinguished by on-site efforts and a local Fire Service unit. No casualties or significant damages were reported.
