Ongoing riverbank erosion along the Jamuna River in Bogra District

Severe riverbank erosion along the Jamuna River in Bogra district has left 26 kilometers of the 45-kilometer riverbank unprotected. Hundreds of families have been displaced, losing homes and agricultural land, with recent damages including the loss of 200 meters of bank in Dhunat in just 12 days.
