Monthly Transport Accident Report for May 2026: Road, Rail, and Waterways

A report by the Bangladesh Jatri Kalyan Samity states that 613 road accidents occurred in May 2026. Including rail and waterway accidents, the total reached 676 transport-related incidents nationwide, resulting in 671 deaths, 1,696 injuries, and 7 missing individuals. Motorcycles were identified as a primary vehicle type involved in fatalities.
