Landslide risk and flooding in Teknaf following heavy rainfall

Continuous heavy rainfall in Teknaf, Cox's Bazar, since June 21, 2026, has created a severe risk of landslides for residents living at the foot of hills. Additionally, the rain has caused waterlogging, leaving over 500 homes inundated across multiple unions, including Shahparir Dwip and Hnila.
