Newborn found abandoned at Gazaria Upazila Health Complex

A newborn baby girl was found alive in a dustbin at the Gazaria Upazila Health Complex in Munshiganj on Monday, June 29, 2026. Hospital staff and patients rescued the infant, who suffered head injuries. After receiving primary care, the baby was transferred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for further treatment and is currently under observation.
