Fines imposed for Aedes mosquito larvae at two Jigatala buildings

Two property owners in the Jigatala area of Dhaka were fined a total of 100,000 BDT after Aedes mosquito larvae were discovered in their under-construction buildings. The operation was conducted by a task force under the Dhaka South City Corporation to prevent the spread of dengue.
