Boat capsized in Jadukata River leaves 3 dead including a child

On the afternoon of March 21, 2026, a passenger boat traveling from Laurergarh to Shimul Bagan capsized in the middle of the Jadukata River in Tahirpur, Sunamganj. Three people, including a child, died in the incident, while other passengers managed to swim to the shore.
