A Juba Dal leader and his wife were critically injured when a Rajib Paribahan bus hit their CNG-powered auto-rickshaw on the Jamalpur-Madarganj highway in Madarganj, Jamalpur, on the night of July 21, 2026. Following the incident, local BNP and affiliated political activists blockaded the highway for three hours on the morning of July 22 to demand the arrest of the responsible driver.
