Compensation and Mitigation Strategy Meeting for Human-Elephant Conflict in Nalitabari

Environment Minister Abdul Awal Mintu visited Madhutila Ecopark in Nalitabari, Sherpur, to discuss strategies for mitigating human-elephant conflict, including the creation of elephant corridors. Compensation totaling 1.665 million BDT was distributed to victims of past elephant attacks, and equipment was provided to Elephant Response Teams.
