A residential house in Matiranga, Khagrachhari, collapsed into the Dholiya Canal on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, due to four days of continuous heavy rainfall triggered by a depression. More than 20 family members were displaced, and another structure on the property remains at high risk of erosion.
