Four teenage laborers died after inhaling toxic gas while entering a septic tank at an under-construction building at Ali Miah's house, Golaniya village, Kalikachha Union, Sarail, Brahmanbaria, on May 20, 2026. The tragedy occurred during cleaning and rescue attempts when the laborers entered the tank one after another. Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defence personnel conducted the rescue and body recovery operation.
