Government stands by the people during the flood disaster in Pekua

Heavy rainfall and mountain runoff caused flooding in several areas of Pekua Upazila, Cox's Bazar. State Minister Anindya Islam Amit visited affected areas in Sadar, Magnama, and Toitong unions to distribute relief supplies to families who were stranded or displaced by the rising water.
